Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you to those who are diligent in calling our Attendance Line when your child is absent or going to be late.

For those who are not familiar with calling the Attendance Line, we would greatly appreciate you calling this every time your child is going to be away, has an appointment or is just running late.

The Attendance Line can be reached by calling the school directly at 519-578-5480 and dialling #1. Alternatively, you may email fhl-attendance@wrdsb.ca. Both options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are the best ways to ensure communication regarding your child’s absence is received and recorded for our Safe Arrival Program. Please do not call the office line directly as mornings can be an extremely busy time in our office.

In addition, if your child arrives at school after the announcements, they MUST come to the office to be signed in and given an admit slip before heading to class.

Our priority is the safe arrival of your children and your cooperation in following these procedures will help to greatly reduce the number of unnecessary phone calls our office needs to make in order to ensure the safety of your children in a timely manner.
