Hello Grade 6 Students (and Families)!

You are special to us, and we miss you tremendously. This time of year should be about celebrating your accomplishments and sharing the excitement of Grade 6 graduation and starting Grade 7 in the Fall. Unfortunately, due to school closure, we’re not able to hold any group graduation events at this time.

We want you to know how much you all mean to everyone at Forest Hill. We plan to recognize you with a special message on our front lawn sign–watch for it soon! A family member may want to take pictures of you with the sign. 🙂

It’s been a Forest Hill tradition to present each Grad with a new combination lock–and we’d like to do the same this year! You may come in person to pick up your lock with your personal belongings on Monday (or Tuesday) next week. A teacher will deliver locks and belongings to anyone arriving by car.

All of us are eager to hear about what back-to-school will be like in September. We really hope to have a Grade 6 ‘reunion’ event for you and your families to reconnect and share the exciting things happening at your new schools. We would also dedicate our Graduation Tree you helped select.

Your teachers are doing all they can to ensure a smooth and positive start to Grade 7 for everyone. We’ve been communicating with your new schools and teachers to share the best of what we know about you. Your new schools will welcome you warmly knowing you will have been away from school for a LONG time!

We hope to see many of you next week when you pick up your school belongings.

We wish you all good health and a very safe and happy summer!
