School Council is hosting a family movie night in our school gym tonight starting at 6:30. This evening is for the whole family. Come out and enjoy The LEGO Movie and nibble on some some “movie treats” while doing so. All are welcome to attend this FREE event.

All parents are invited to come out to a parent workshop entitled “Great Kids – Big Feelings” tonight in our school library. This evening is hosted by our school council with our guest speaker coming to us from K-W Counselling services. The session begins at 6:30 pm tonight, November 19.

Don’t forget that if your child missed photo day or wish to have your child’s photo retaken that this coming Monday, November 17th is the day! Photos will be taken starting at 9:30 in the morning.

Our next School Council Meeting is on Tuesday, November 11th. All parents and members of the school community are welcome to attend. Our meeting starts at 6:30 pm in the Library.

Friday, November 7th is a Professional Development Day for staff across our school board. The morning has been set aside for Parent-Teacher interviews and workshops for other staff. The afternoon will see more workshops offered for staff and for development of school based learning.

Parents, please set up a time with your child’s teacher to meet with them to discuss their progress so far this year. The majority of these interviews will be taking place during the evening on Thursday, November 6th and during the morning of Friday November 7th.

Parents of Kindergarten students will be given the opportunity to come into class to observe their child in their learning environment over the next few weeks. Please connect with your child’s teacher about this if you have not made contact with them already.
