This afternoon shortly after 3pm, there were reports of people in the area near our school with weapons. As a precaution, our school was placed in a Hold and Secure by Waterloo Regional Police Service. This means that our doors were kept locked, and students were kept indoors.

The Hold and Secure lasted approximately 10 minutes. At no time were our students or staff in any danger.
