Hello Forest Hill Families!

All of us were delighted to welcome our first groups of students and families back to school today!

This morning, teachers are helping students get to know their new classrooms as well as health and safety routines at school, including masking, hand hygiene, and physical distancing.

Our Forest Hill students will be wearing masks outside during morning and afternoon nutrition breaks. We made this decision with the following in mind:

  • Masks must be used when we are uncertain that students can consistently maintain physical distancing (e.g. during active outdoor play and moving from inside to outside)
  • Students will be taking masks off for eating in their classroom a total of 40 minutes per day
  • Teachers will be taking individual classes outside up to two times per day (weather permitting). Masks may be removed at these times since the teacher can closely monitor physical distancing

Thank you, families, for taking EXCELLENT care of your children during school closure. We look forward to working with you to make Forest Hill a place of safety, comfort and learning once again.
