Dear Families:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Regional Public Health directs us to take any possible symptoms of COVID-19 seriously — even symptoms we may have considered “seasonal” or “minor” in the past.

If a child at school has any potential symptoms of COVID-19, we are required to call you to have your child (and their siblings) picked up as soon as possible.

We know this can be confusing and inconvenient. If you receive a call, your co-operation and understanding are crucial to the measures Public Health directs us to take.

We are providing this info sheet to families of students picked up from school, along with these instructions to access COVID-19 testing.

We sincerely thank you for your partnership and support. Please be sure to use the COVID-19 school screening tool each morning before children head off to school.
